Tess Meyer has advised a diverse set of health care clients for more than a decade, assisting them with state and federal regulatory, transactional, and compliance needs. Her clients include hospitals, provider groups, laboratories, behavioral health organizations, and private equity firms. She has also represented FDA-regulated clients, including medical device, drug, cosmetic, and dietary supplement companies.
Tess regularly counsels clients on mergers, acquisitions, collaborations, and other strategic arrangements, including conducting due diligence and drafting and negotiating agreements. She also advises on a broad spectrum of health care issues, including licensure, scope of practice, corporate practice of medicine, physician employment, change of ownership, fraud and abuse, HIPAA and HITECH, and Medicare and Medicaid enrollment.
She previously represented health care and FDA-regulated clients at one of the 20 largest global law firms and, earlier in her career, worked at a leading professional services firm, where she advised health care organizations, life sciences companies, and large employers on health care regulatory compliance and federal and state health care policy.
Tess earned her law degree from American University Washington College of Law and her bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern California.
