Law.com, Bloomberg Law, Law360, and TXF highlighted Parisa Salehi joining Parker Poe as a partner in the firm's Washington, DC, office.

The publications emphasized Parisa's prior role as Inspector General of the Export‑Import Bank of the United States (EXIM), where she led independent oversight of multibillion-dollar government programs and directed investigations, audits, and evaluations involving cross-border transactions and global compliance.

"As I met with different law firms, Parker Poe stood out for its culture, both in terms of the warmth and depth of relationships here and the firm's commitment to help an entrepreneurial person like myself build something," Parisa said in a Law360 quote.

"Parker Poe was willing and ready with a good and healthy risk appetite to say to me, ‘OK, we're going to support you, and you can go out there and do what you need to do,’ and that was very unique," she told Law.com.

Parisa also appreciated the firm's fast growth and continuing commitment to the DC market. The firm relocated to a vibrant, modern office in the Gallery Place–Chinatown neighborhood in October 2025.

"We have high-caliber lawyers who have come in, who are going to bring that added value of connecting that type of clientele to what occurs here in Washington and understanding how Washington works," she told Law.com.
